H.U.R.L. is a non-violent "DOOM clone" for kids. You are tasked with cleaning the Slob Zone from all kinds of litter, but in your way stands the Hardcore Union of Radical Litterbugs (H.U.R.L.), comprised of various cartoonish cartoonish animals and headed by a certain Bob the Slob.

The original part in the game is that you need to collect trash scattered across the levels, which is converted into cash that you can use to buy ammo: water balloons, soap and some kind of cleaning detergent, all of which may be used against the various zany enemies that include pigs, ducks and cats among others. Supposedly, all this should teach children cleanliness, although the efficiency of this method is up to debate.

H.U.R.L. was released as shareware, but the unregistered version only contains a single level in the gas station.
