Spelbeschrijving
This is an unofficial sequel to CyberBox which stays closer to the original playing mechanics than Cyberbox II, but adds some new elements and a lot more puzzles. Like in CyberBox, each level / room takes up exactly one screen, and the objective is to guide the player character (now represented by one of several available avatars) to the exit at the top, usually through a maze blocked with boxes that must be moved out of the way.
One major addition are boxes that can be pulled by the player. Like the standard pushable boxes, these can be pulled in different directions depending on which sides they have handles attached. Apart from this, The Continuing Adventures is in many ways similar but more polished compared to the original CyberBox. This includes the option to play levels in any order, instant replay, score tracking, various customizations (like font colours and even an alternate graphical tileset), as well as an easy-to-use graphical level editor.
The Continuing Adventures was originally sold as shareware by its author Edward D. Collins. The basic set of 15 levels was free, while the Deluxe version contains 150 levels, including the original CyberBox level set by Doug Beeferman. In 2011, the Deluxe version was made freeware and can be downloaded from the official site (please see the links section below).
