Klondike Pro is a competitive Klondike solitaire game that is a spiritual successor of sorts to Klondike Gold. It uses the same principle of "Duplicate Solitaire" where several players are given identical hands, and their success is measured by the resulting score, even if a hand cannot be won.

However, when Klondike Gold offered competitive matches against other players via a server run by the game's developer, here in Klondike Pro you will play against AI opponents, slowly rising in rank as you win more matches. The game involves a lot of strategy if you want to maximise your score, but once in a while you will get a hand that can be won, giving you loads of points.

Klondike Pro was originally sold as shareware limiting the rank that the player could achieve in the unregistered version, but in 2011 author Brooke W. Boering declared the latest release of the game freeware.
