Spelbeschrijving

Beast is a text-mode maze game similar to Pengo and its lookalikes (like Pango or WetSpot 2). The player controls a character trapped in a maze swarming with "beasts" that hunt the player. The objective is to trap and crush all beasts by pushing around wall blocks. Once all beasts are gone, the player proceeds to the next level.

The game has many difficulty levels and a few options to customize play. On harder levels, there will be eggs that hatch more powerful beasts that can push blocks on their own, posing a greater danger to the player than ordinary beasts, as well as other hazards.

Beast was originally marketed as shareware, but the note asking for donations was removed from later versions. This game was recreated as part of The Rustic Classics.
